Margin versus markup
Net margin = profit ÷ selling price × 100. Markup instead uses cost as the denominator.
Required selling price = total unit cost ÷ (1 − platform fee rate − target net margin).
Example
For PKR 1,150 unit cost, 5% platform fee and a 20% target margin, the suggested selling price is approximately PKR 1,533.33.
